A Terrible Film

I really enjoyed "The Lost Skeleton of Cadavra", but this film is terrible. It's way too long for the few laughs involved and shows little of the wit and imagination that made the first film so much fun. I think the problem is that Blamire insists that his cast adhere strictly to his poorly written script instead of allowing them to improvise. (One of the actors at the discussion after the film made reference to this.) Instead, we get the same bad wordplay and endless one not jokes repeated over and over again for what felt like an eternity. A real shame. I hope he does better with his next project.

I was terribly disappointed in this sequel. The original film is terrific, and I absolutely LOVE parody. This movie went on too long, the jokes became overly worn halfway through, and there was too much cantaloupe and not enough skeleton.

I just saw this last night. The pacing was terrible, jokes that weren't funny went on for far too long, and I felt like it couldn't figure out what it wanted to be. I'm okay with never seeing this film again.
