Question

Am I the only person who found the old guy quite creepy?

Not only that, how did he kill Heiko? Was it just by one ecstacy tablet (if is was ecstacy) or did he kill him with an overdose using the rest of the tablets crushed up in the wine?

You're definitely not alone on that. that moment at the dinner table was a bit disturbing, especially because I didnt know beforehand the content of the short film.

Moving on, we're not aware of how many tablets did Heiko take during that night; only that the creepy old guy had quite a few of them. Maybe he ended up taking them all, willingly or unknowingly, we'll never be sure.

My own doubt concerns the content of the jar in the very end. what the *beep* was that?

Hi Lusitan
If I'm honest we didn't really know about the content of the film either.

As for what was in the jar at the end - it was Heiko's foot. If you look closely at the end all the jars have feet in them. It looks to me like Heiko wasn't his first victim.

LOL, you must be absolutely right. I believe a foot would definitely fit on what we saw. OMG, can't believe how I didn't guess that!
Yep, he was definitely not the first one, I recall seing quite a few jars in there with different names.

I find it really surprising and shocking (but in a positive way) how did the Fundação Calouste Gulbenkian decided to fund and support such an alternative short film. They say they support every type of culture and damn, they really mean it.
