This sint a documentary. It was entertaining which is all it needed to be.

If you are familiar with the many versions of the Arthurian legend, both medieval and modern, you will find this "silly" little series is actually full of interesting bits, alongside many other examples of modern Arthurian rewrites.

"Occasionally I'm callous and strange."

It doesn't claim to be anything more than what it is, a "family friendly" show imagining what might have been. No, it doesn't adhere to the classic Arthurian legends, but it does tell entertaining stories using those characters. Granted it does start off kind of silly but they do get better. If it got people interested in the stories and legends then it did a good thing.

That's sort of the point. Since it's a legend many different versions bend the story for their creative vision.
