from the looks of it, this seems like a rip off of the new American movie PIG HUNT. Only totally cliche and following the same old conventions of the "Monster" movie genre!

Pig Hunt seems like waaaaaay more fun compared to this, I have no doubt in my mind based on the trailer and prior reports that film is something special. Watching the trailer for CHAW makes me feel like I've seen it all before.

Would you want to see something new in this area or just more of the same old cliche monster movie crap?

God, just *beep* stop! In Pig Hunt, you don't get to see the actual "pig" until the very end of the movie! Even then, its just two shots of what is probably the worst puppet ever, and that's it! The rest of the movie is three douches hanging around with some white trash rednecks, and the second half of the film is about them being hunted by that same group of white trash rednecks. Chaw at least has a *beep* pig in it that actually *beep* kills people!

I saw the movie yesterday. The story of pig hunt is crap in compare with chaw. Chaw has a lot of slapstick fun in it. Also the swine is made much more better then in pic hunt. Also the horror part is more based on imagination then on gore. And this is really nice in compare to the "maximize the blood, slime and gore and forget about the story" movies wich are popular at the moment. I had a lot of fun watching chaw.

Yeah or show seven hundred million boobs to make all the semen sweating yanks forget that the movie is actually crap.

Kind of like in Pig hunt.

Ooooh. I'm a sophisticated British douchebag who watches films, not movies. I can generalize an entire nation in one off-hand dismissal and I'm clearly miles beyond "yanks" in assessing art forms. Get over yourself, mate.
