So what happened with Cindy?

For the final episode they kept showing teasers of Cindy getting this anonymous note --did we ever find out who it was from or what was going on?
And didnt they do this last season? They kept saying that there was something unbelieveable that would happen to one of the cast members that we had to stayed tuned for and they never brought it up again.
