I think they were from the same countdown in Performers, but I don't remember.
1) This kid with longish hair and a really bad mustache is in front of a green screen and I guess he's singing some love song very poorly.
2) Some guy made a rap video in the 90s about living in the suburbs or something, and supposedly still makes music.

I know what you're talking about, but each of them may be from different Performers episodes (I forgot which one):
1)It's a middle-aged man with a mustache and glasses from Florida who had his video aired on a local public access network, and
2)The rapper calls himself the Average Homeboy.

With the first, he was mumbling and sounded rather tone deaf, but I can't tell if he was trolling or being serious.
