1 troop at a time ????

In C&C 3 you create a small platoon of guys each time you use the barracks, now you only get one ??? The franchise does appear to be going backwards. And you're only allowed 50 units. What's up with that ??

Red Alert 2 didn't have platoons either, and seeing as this is a sequel I'd say it makes sense. I haven't noticed the 50 unit cap, but if you're right that is retarded.

I'm playing it on 360. PC version should allow you more. I hope.

I love the 360 version so far. The emperors superweapon *beep* rocks.

I'm doing the Allied and Soviet campaigns at the moment.
The Empire units are really fiddly with their second function units. Although, it's great not having to build a airport.

I think that C&C3/KW are the ONLY C&C games that have squads. In all of the games, the basic level of unit is the single soldier. In C&C3, you produce a squad, but you cannot issue orders to each individual soldier--each one acts as a sub-component of the unit.
It doesn't make much difference in actual gameplay. The only significant difference is with healing soldiers. As you lose individual members of a squad, the unit loses health. Healing strengthens individual soldiers, but it will not resurrect fallen soldiers--sop there is a limit on how effective healing can be

Their just pawns, they are ment to be pawned.

Anyways it's all about the vehicles anyways because it only takes one guy to garrison a building (so what's the ridiculous point in making more then 10 or 20?)

Btw isn't Elvira like 50 or 60?
