Beats me. I always go on IMDB after watching a movie I like, only to find out it isn't rated that high. Maybe I have bad taste? Lol. Anyway, this didn't make me tear up as bad as I thought it would, Hilary Swank and all. Still a good movie though in my opinion.
shareThere are so many overlooked wonderfully beautiful and timeless movies. And then there are the overrated action flicks. You clearly have great taste. I have said the same thing. What a wonder. I suppose it depends on the advertisement the movie had, how it appeals to the public and who goes to see it etc. Such a shame.
shareI agree. I'm sick of all the high ratings going to all the Hollywood special effects movies. This didn't need all that... Great acting, heart felt story... Maybe too real for the masses who don't know how to appreciate real, true life struggles.
