who cares, good movie

Mediocre movie. Acting wasn't bad. Story lacks development until the very end. And this is more along the lines of a Lifetime movie than something like Nikita or The Professional. The movie villainized men at every turn and mostly portrayed women as helpless and scared. Its more of a drama too, there is not very much action. I'd say a 5/10.

Its easy to pick movies apart with how different things would be in real life. Too many people saw her face at every assassination that she would never be able to get away, especially working in the same city for every job. She was not even talented at it, just a thug in my opinion. This movie is more about a relationship formed between two women as they seek to escape their own private hell's. Its a story that is nothing new, just the background story is a little different than normal.

I think this was part of the problem with the film, the director did not understand what film he was making. Is it a action/crime drama...or a film about the relationship between these women? I think most agree that the story that evolves between the two girls is the one worth seeing, the suspense/action/crime drama...not so much. Yet that latter part was too much of a focus, it tried to define the film too much. The story is nothing new, just a different perspective that really could have made a decent film had it been in either the right hands, or had the director thought thoroughly about what kind of film he wanted to make. Trying to throw too many eggs in a basket usually breaks a few, and sometimes breaks too many.

According to the Hollywood manual, movies need to appeal to at least 2 of the four demographics (young male, young female, old male, old female).
Here you have action and gunfights and lesbian sexual tension appealing to young men, and the friendship formed by two women in distress appealing to women.

Surely only one thing cannot demonize the whole movie. If it was a culmination of many factors, then "garbage" would be well justified.

IMO the movie had its strong points and weak ones, but just enough strong points to make this a decent movie but far from an epic one.

Anyone that thinks this is mediocre movie, expects too much from a movie. Olga was great and so were the rest of the cast. If all you do is watch a movie to pick it apart, you will never like any movie! I liked this movie and I have seen so many that try to be similar to this, but I was affected by this movie. It was different than most!

have to say a long time ago. I thought it was a good flick. 7/10
