This film deserves a 7 at least. Beyonce surprised me with her performance. Idris was very servicable as he always is. Ali was good but annoying. As what her Character was meant to be. What's the problem? Why rated so ridiculously low.

shareyeah...African-American films tend to get underrated a bit on IMDb. You can usually count on at least a loss of a point. I can only imagine that interracially themed films do even worse. So I guess if you spot this film 2 points it comes out to being a 6.9 film if all the main characters were white...and that's just .1 off the 7 you think it deserves!

Folks you have to understand that on IMDB, movies with a predominant black cast, are going to lose at least 1.5 points off the top. Just read the comments about the young Brit black actor in the recent Star Wars movie. These people hate, 24/7, forget any objectivity.
shareI just gave it a 6. It's not a masterpiece by any means but definitely better than a 4.9. There are too many fools on imdb who give any movie they don't like a 1 and a movie they do like a 10, so it ruins the imdb ratings.

I am African-American, and several movies on this site with black casts or black leads deserve better reviews. However, this isn't one of them. I'm a huge Beyonce fan, but I'm not crazy about her acting. This film is far from original. You have the crazy secretary (Ali Larter) who craves the affection her married boss. She threatens his family, tries to sleep with him, and attempts suicide. You even have a showdown between her and the wife. It's the blueprint for every other Lifetime original movie that has aired in the last twenty years. It's been done before, guys .

When Beyonce's kid came up missing, her acting was soooooooooo bad...me and many others were in tears. Beyonce and Kelly Rowland are NOT made to be on TV or Movies.
Leave that to the queen - Queen Latifah and the original og Ice Cube.
I believe this movie deserved a 2. But Ali Larter was in it and I'm soft on her and tons of my friends from the HOOD...yes HOOD not white fellows; feel the same way.
