Some people on this board mentioned that Sharon had no right kicking Derek out of his house. The thing is she DID have EVERY RIGHT to kick him out! They were married, as soon as people get married "what's yours is mine" comes into effect. So the house was as much hers as it was his! Just wanted to mention that, if you don't agree do research on marriage and material rights.

Marriage and material rights would state "what's yours is mine", but it also states the fact that 'the house was as much hers as it was his', meaning that no she did not have any right to tell him to leave, just as much as he had every right to stay. No court in the land would side with her UNLESS she got the house in a divorce settlement.
All the while ANYONE has their names on the deeds, (single, divorced or married) they do not have to leave, and the other person cannot change the locks by law.
