Uncredited song? HELP!

What is the uncredited song around 53 minutes in, where he walks out onto the steps? Simple, plaintive and sound a bit like Dave Matthews - which could be anyone nowadays.
The lyrics are "Where did i go wrong / I feel so far from home / Can you see me coming home?"

From the first words in that song, it clearly sounded like Adam Sandler to me, and it continued to sound like Adam Sandler the entire time. But I haven't been able to find more about it with that information.
