Why wouldn't Clyde have the entry within the warehouse that then leads to his secret tunnel rigged to explode if a code or some other trigger isn't deactivated?

Even a keyboard warrior like myself with no CIA experience and about as far from a think tank for them as the Earth is from the Milky Way would have some sort of plan like that - so I'd think that someone with Clyde's smarts would have something far better. To have no protection for his secret tunnel seems just sloppy given how intelligent this guy is meant to be.

Isn't it obvious?

If he'd done that one reasonable step they would have had to have hired an intelligent script writer.

Dumb script writers are all that is required for dumb audiences :P

Ummm,the Earth is IN the Milky Way,making it not far from it at all.
As in zero.
You don't have to work so hard to prove your claim of "Now I'm not a smart guy but..."

we all didn't get the end at the moment, but since i'm smarter than you all, i did, clyde wanted nick to become a killer by killing him, the secret guy who send nick the info and wasn't shown in the film was probably him. wow i'm so smart i can kill my self!
