Real stars of this show...

...are Nana and the two boys Michael and Cody. I love how down to earth and normal they are. If you didn't know who they were and met them on the street, you could not tell they are part of the Lohan family. If it weren't for them, this show would be seen as an obvious plug for Ali's budding career as a singer and actress. They were a perfect escape from Ali and Dina's hectic schedules revolving more or less around Lindsay's career as well. Two other ppl i couldnt stand were Alexis (what is she Dina's twin?) and that creepy Jeremy guy. It was so obvious Ali had a crush on him and this guy lead her on in the guise of being a music producer. More than enjoying seeing them on the show, I actually felt sorry Nana, Michael and Cody. You can see how much the strain of being a Lohan has taken out of them. From all of Lindsays crap (as Michael put it), their Dads run-ins with the law, parents divorce and Ali's diva antics. I can count on one hand the number of times I saw all three of them smile on camera. Then again all of these backstories are what makes this show interesting for me and I applaud Dina for allowing the cameras into her home (regardless of what her intentions were). I found this show more watchable than those freak shows The Osbournes, Growing Up Gotti and House of Carters. The Lohans, no matter how disfunctional, are a close-knit family held together by Nana and the boys.
