The production values and the writing couldn't be poorer.
I read the novel which could have been great a summer blockbuster but now it's a dopy miniseries. Tis a shame.

I bailed out as soon as Mira Sorvino jumped onto the (conveniently unattended) police horse! That was what, five or six minutes in? :)
