Fate of Scott Foley please *possible spoilers*

Hubby had the TV last night and I could not watch the ending. Can somebody please give me the ending and fate of the people involved.
Would appreciate it since I watched the first half and did not get to see the 2nd half.
Thanks,
L

Well, they (Tess and Sean)drove out into the desert, dug down into the sand, found the lava covered remains of the town, grabbed the bad with the clue to the treasure just as the dome collapsed, were captured by the mad professor and his gun toting minions, got rid of the minions and "hooked up" sexually <breath>. Then Tess drove off with the mad professor, leaving Sean to walk out of the desert with no water, but the monsignor and his minion showed up, but soon showed their true colors. Then Tess and the professor hired a boat to take them out in the middle of the sea where the Falcon Temple had sunk and hauled up the Falcon figurehead where the treasure was hidden but the monsignor and his minion and Sean were hidden aboard and they all fought and then a wave swamped the boat and Tess and Sean were washed up on an island where Tess learned the value of faith while Sean was in a coma. Then Tess found the Falcon and the scroll hidden in it and the mad professor magically showed up at that exact moment and they fought over "The Gospel of Jesus" which may or may not have said JEsus was only a carpenter but Tess let the wind take it out to sea and the professor fell off the cliff <breath>. Then a flashback shows that the scroll was a fake made by the Master Templar to stop all the religeous fighting and Sean woke up with Tess crying over him and they went back to AMerica and the church got the decoder back, and Tess went to her daughter's tournament and Sean joined her there.

Thank you so much. I hated that I was able to watch the 1st part and not the 2nd part.

Yes, but actually sitting through the crapfest of a second half was so much worse. :)

Plus, in the book the scroll was not a fake but she still destroyed it which makes a lot of people mad at the book and the movie since up until then it is all about how finding the truth would set you free from an oppressive religion. (oppressive to the Templars in the past who got slaughtered by the church for having too much power)

I totally agree with you bluude regarding the scroll and oppressive religion. And I probably would agree with you on the second half crapfest if I had gotten the chance to even watch it. I hated that I wasted the 1st 2 hours on it but did not get to waste another 2 hours on the last half.

Thanks for your input. I think I might just have to read the book.
