is charlie gone now then?

he was supposed to be gone after episode 15 which was this weeks and he wasnt even in it. i thought his exit was gonna be a big story with a tearful goodbye from megan.

Charlie's last episode is the next new episode, not next week but the week after. Then its curtains for his character.

reply

yeah and then 2 more episodes and its curtains for the whole show. its sad but inevitable that privileged is gonna be cancelled

I love the show but its hard to argue that they have nobody to blame but themselves for the cancellation. Hard to lay the blame for this at the CW's doorstep, they have given this show every chance to succeed including adding encores on Wednesday nights in the upcoming weeks.

Its just too bad that poor writing and poor budgeting damaged the show the way it did.

I beg to differ. The CW DOES NOT promote Privilged as much as 90210 or Gossip Girl. For every ten promos I see of 90210, I see two for Privileged.

Poor writing? I don't think so. This show is better written than Gossip Girl at the moment. I like GG but the plots this season seem, well, lagging and the same as last season. It is refreshing to see a show focus on personal relationships with more depth and Privileged is it. 90210 is horribly written. It is like a bad one act play with only monotone lines.

Also, I believe the CW needs a new frontperson. Dawn What's Her Face really did not help UPN and she has not done anything much for this network to get people to watch more or even bring quality shows. Pretty people with pretty lives and sub-par writing can only go so far. The network needs more variety and more better written shows such as Privileged. They could totally market this as a replacement for Gilmore Girls (which back in the WB days garnered tons of weekly promos and great small network ratings) and they don't. The CW is sitting on a gold mine of an opportunity and they have no clue how to utilize it.

"Fra-gee-lay. That must be Italian."
"Uh, I think that says FRAGILE, dear."
