The CW people are obviously dimwits. This show had a TON of potential and they blew it big time. I do not understand how a well written character driven show with heart gets canceled over utter trash like 90210.
Neither am I. I invested in Swingtown (which was on CBS last summer) and that got canceled. The new fall show I liked also ended and that was Life On Mars on ABC. Now this and Reaper which I watched casually and liked alot.
NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO! Ohhhmyygoshhh this freakinn pisses me off! I LOVED privileged! Ughhhhhhhh. It was such a great show. I agree it had amazing potential. So many storylines to go over besides teen girls getting pregnant and girls getting in cat fights over stupid stuff :(
I agree, the acting was top notch in this show, the characters were well thought out and well done, the stories were interesting and it was the most recorded show on DVR, at least that's what I hear.
Sure, lets keep 90210 which has garbage actors and even worse acting and plotlines.
Stupid mistake on their part.
Then again, this is the CW we're talking about, which may not even last another year before that channel is axed.
i saw the 50+ shows that were being cancelled and at 1 made me the saddest. I loved this show and was dyin 2 know what would happen with Megan and her boo. Ughh, I watched 1 episode of 90210 and it was horrible. I never even saw it again after that, but this show was sooo goooddd.
UHH, i don't mind privileged, ive watched it a few times, but to say that it was better than 90210 is ridiculous. At least 90210's characters are likable, and the episodes are exciting, whereas in privileged, the boring storylines and flat actors nearly make me fall asleep. So i guess im not that dissapointed that it got canceled, ill think of you guys when im watching 90210 this fall.
Teen brats who learn nothing and party all night are likable? Everything on 90210 is old, tired and cliched, but what do you expect from a show that was already on twenty friggin' years ago? And it wasn't that good then! Most of the young actors on 90210 couldn't act their way out of a paper bag. The curly mopped blond and the chick from Degrassi are plain awful. Whatever flips your boat, though. We are stating our opinions here and if we think Privileged is a better show then that is our opinion. What do you expect on a board that is for the very same show we actually hold in high regards?
Teen girls who actually learn something about themselves is more my speed. I loved all the characters on Privelged. I don't need an uncreative rehatched show from 20 years ago floating around so much as I need one that balanced drama, comedy and multi-dimensional characters with better more down to earth stories and good actors.
