Britain's got talent (Ending of the movie)

I thought the ending where he just narrates how he won "Britain's Got Talent" was not what I expected at all. They should have dramatized something. At least showed the finale performance. They have to come back and perform like 4 or more times, and go through many judges rounds. Maybe it was cut for time, to focus more on the marital life and all, but isn't that part of what we came to see? Not as much of the Rom-Com. The rom-com was good too though. Just thought the ending was flat.
