They worked together in "King Arthur" and "The Three Musketeers", and there was a Danish thriller planned in which both star as rivals. Now they are again together in this film.

shareI can understand every English word Mads Mikkelsen says, especially in movies, I have the closed captioning turned on my TV for Hannibal, but I can understand almost everything he is saying in Hannibal as well, but sometimes the volume, etc. fluctuates, so I turn on the closed captioning for Hannibal. I understood everything Mads Mikkelsen said in his movies though.

shareI have no problem understanding his English. His voice is beautiful. I have nothing but respect for anyone who is fluent in more than one language, and as far as I can tell, Mads has no problem with English at all.

Schweiger is talentless, always so predictably typecast and Mikkelsen was kind of cardboard, but acceptable, his first film, Pusher, will always be my personal favorite. I prefer Mads when he's NOT speaking English
