better than I though, but some problems

The show was better than I thought it would be. I thought it was going to be more of a Grey's Anatomy/Private Practice show. It really had more of a sitcom feel to me. So I thought it was a little misleading from the commercials I've seen for it.

I think the set up of the show is kinda stupid though. Because if she only had a year to find the guy she's going to marry, or end up alone for life, then that means that she has this season and maybe next season to find the guy. And then what? Will the psychic tell her that she has another year to get him to marry her? That part of the show seems a little tricky. And if the psychic was so good at telling her details, who couldn't she just tell her who the guy was, or what his name was? I know that's being picky, but it makes sense.

My only problem with the show is that is was trying a little too hard to be clever and hip. Too many pop culture references in one show, But that could be cause it was the pilot episode. So we'll see how the next few episodes go. I just think it was trying a little too hard, like Juno, with all these pop culture references. They seems forced. But I was surprised that it looked like it was going to be this cute, girly show and they pushed the envelope, which was col.

But two things. First off, a woman clearly wrote this. Cause what guy is going to freak out cause a hot girl has a mole on her back? And Eric Balfore had sex with her and didn't see it? And the whole waxing thing, why did the guy freak out over it. I mean it'll grow back. If he didn't like it, just deal with it till it grows back. I seriously don't think a guy would be freaked out over it. I think he'd be more freaked out if she just didn't shave and looked like Chewbacca.

Yeah, I wondered about that, it's seriously limiting. It worked ok in Israel because the show was only a few episodes long. If it goes past 1 season then they'll either say each season is a few weeks long, like LOST or the psychic will have another vision or something after a year. And yes, very convinient that she was able to see enough detail to convince Bella but not a hint of who they guy was apart from some kind of ex. I suppose it's justifiable for story reasons though.

I've known guys weirded out by the idea of "doing a little girl" if someone is totally shaved, so it's not that strange. He did make a big deal out of it though for something that's temporary. And his GF was a bit bitch, but quite funny.

And yes, totally clear that a woman wrote it, like it's totally clear a guy (or two guys) are the driving forces behind HIMYM.

I enjoyed it, which is more than I thought I would do. I'm not sure it will last though.

It's the same thing from Samantha Who? but it's still going on.

"Wait! We can't stop here. This is bat country!"
