So the Soul Mate Is...

Obviously the ex she shares the dog with. The signs she's supposed to see were there but she missed them:

He found her sister's engagement ring, and held it up as if he were proposing to her and he uncovered the picture of the woman that will be watching over her, which was a sign within itself.

I can't even watch the show asuming she finds her soul mate since I think it's the ex. I can only watch to see the hilarity that ensues with her reconnecting with her ex-boyfriends.

Amanda: "Aren't you gay?"
Nick: "Only around you"

Because in the original version it's not him.

I didn't know this show was based on anything. Is it based on a book or is it a remake of another show?

It based off of a TV show in Israel.

If you know this for fact, care to write "spoiler" before posting? I can't exactly help how fast my eyes switch down to the next post and read it, and if you just ruined this entire show for me, you kinda suck.

So obviously now that the show has been yanked (I was kind of looking forward to tonight's Halloween episode), we won't get to the point of finding this out. But, if Augie or whoever is supposed to be The One, then they had a fling or something? (Since the whole premise is she already had romantic involvement with the future husband to be). I find that kind of sad. I felt like he really really bent over backwards for and loved the blonde teacher chick.

How weird was the shower massage episode? I didn't have to hear her moaning every other scene!

I don't recall them mentioning Bella had a fling with him, if they did, please enlighten me?

I KNEW it was him! My sister in law kept arguing with me about that, but I knew it...well unless the writers of the US version were going to make it be someone else...but I always thought it was going to be the friend.

You were right, I just finished watching all the episodes dubbed in French and the soul mate was Elliot played by Mark Deklin. So whoever hinted that Augie was the soul mate were wrong.

So to revive an old post, and confirm what the last poster said, it was Elliot (the ex she shares the dog with)...h proposed and it ended there.
