Why is your dream setlist for a new game mostly songs that are already on the games? The only songs that aren't on the games or Rock Band or its DLC are the last 10-11. If "Inside Out" is the song by Eve 6, that's out for Rock Band's DLC. It would also help if you add who the artist is.

---
"All Along the Watchtower" or "Foxey Lady" - Jimi Hendrix (may be on DLC)
"Stairway to Heaven" - Led Zeppelin (they don't allow their songs to be used in movies/games though)
"Comfortably Numb" - Pink Floyd
"Fireball" - Deep Purple
"Help!" - The Beatles
"Johnny B. Goode" - Chuck Berry
"Start Me Up" - The Rolling Stones
"Gimme Three Steps" - Lynyrd Skynyrd
"Cocaine" - Eric Clapton
"God of Thunder" - Kiss
"Holy Diver" - Dio
"Washington Is Next" - Megadeth
"I'm Broken" - Pantera
"Welcome Home" - King Diamond
"Sidewinder" - Avenged Sevenfold
"T.V. Party" - Black Flag
"The Game" - Motorhead
"The Stroke" - Billy Squire
"Straight to Hell" - The Clash
"Negative Creep" - Nirvana
"By the Way" - Red Hot Chili Peppers
"Pawn Shop" - Sublime
"Here In Your Bedroom" - Goldfinger
"My Name Is Mud" - Primus
"Beer" - Reel Big Fish
"Cannonball" - The Breeders
"Know Your Enemy" - Rage Against the Machine
"Been Caught Stealing" - Jane's Addiction
"Backslider" - Toadies
"Dreaming" - System of a Down
"The Hell Song" - Sum 41
"The Anthem, Pt. 2" - Blink 182 (any song by them is good for drums regardless of quality)
"Bouncing Off the Walls" - Sugarcult
"Nothingwrong" - Jimmy Eat World
"These Days" - Alien Ant Farm
"Gravedigging" - The Classic Crime
"Pretty Handsome Awkward" - The Used
"Injection" - Rise Against
"Thank You for the Venom" - My Chemical Romance
"Song for the Dead" - Queens of the Stone Age

"Longview" or "Jesus of Suburbia" - Green Day
"Good Grief" - Foo Fighters
"Spin" - Taking Back Sunday
"All These Things That I've Done" - The Killers
"Everything Is Alright" - Motion City Soundtrack
"Chelsea Dagger" or "Baby Fratelli" - The Fratellis
"Vision of Division" - The Strokes
"See Through Head" - The Hives

"Paranoid Android" - Radiohead
"Cut Your Hair" - Pavement
"It's the End of the World..." - R.E.M.
"Blister in the Sun" - Violent Femmes
"Two Princes" - Spin Doctors (not a great song, but may be funny to play)
"Yadnus" - !!!
"Clubfoot" - Kasabian
"Stockholme Syndrome" - Muse
"Horndog" - Overseer
"Seventeen Years" - Ratatat (no vox)

I'd also want something from The Doors. If anyone's like, "this is crap," trying finding music that's not already available for the games, on-disc or downloadable. The list is put in order of genre, kind of, from classic rock to metal to punk-ish & ska to pop-rock & emo to hard rock/nu metal to post-punk/garage rock to alternative/indie and finally electronic.

I've been happy with most of the setlists, aside from Aerosmith.

Except it's an absolute tragedy that "I Believe in a Thing Called Love" by the Darkness was only included in a DS game.

Old Dogs - 8/10
New Moon - 8/10
