The four wheel drive men

When will directors start wearing the shoe on the other foot? Watch this if you believe American lives are far more interesting and important than lives of Iraqi men. I fell adleep in this movie as it came to the stage where i didnt care for any of the chatacters. I kept thinking wouldnt it be refreshing to see the perspective from the other side and their glam free personal lives eg you could have their other halves denouncing their husband for fear of their house being targeted as a centre for terrorism.
The opposition here face the knowledge that a missile guided from space could be heading to an area near them anytime soon even if he starts praising the American dream and puts down his weapon.
This film is a pile of Taleban waste.
Other films i have fallen asleep to: none

I guess you are unfamiliar with the recent American film "Battle for Haditha". It shows parallel stories of Americans and Iraqis.
Not surprising as your knowledge of films seems rather limited.
So according to you, all war films must show both sides? Some do, some don't. This film has a point of view, showing the story of some Americans. So what?
Your comments are ignorant and demeaning. And before you flame me for being some kind of right wing Muslim hater, I'll tell you that I loathe George Bush and his criminal policies, and oppose the war in Iraq.
But this film is a story of fighting men, fairly and bravely told.

reply

Fairly and bravely told ? I would be insulted by this movie as an iraq veterean..
The acting, the story the dialogues.. Terrible.. This was worse than American Soldiers.

reply

Hey stefschip , are you an "iraq veterean" ? If not, shut the hell up. And learn to spell.

And kuluvas , don't tell me to grow up. You don't know anything about me, and yet you judge. Ignorant.

I agree orloprat, But you forgot to mention that the lives of americans are far more interesting than the men who beat and degrade thier wives and daughters every day, Send their sons in to a crowded area just to blow them selves up. No I dont find that interesting at all, But what I do find interesting is the men and women that go there to try help these people that just want to live their lives. Now I understand not all iraqi's are that way but you have to understand that you know nothing and, How the hell would they know of a missile in space ? Why would they put down their weapons ? I figure you know nothing of fanatics do you ? Its like telling a crackhead to put the pipe down and change right now, Not gonna happen.
So when you grow up a bit try to watch it again or make somethin better I have an idea for ya, The Taleban space program needs to send suicide bombers to a comet headed for earth. It sounds about your speed.

So i suggest you take your taleban waste and shove it, You just called a patriot a terrorest and I hope for your sake none of the Fighting men and women ever find out you called an injured soldier a terrorest otherwise you'll never fall asleep in a movie again, Besides how can you comment on something you didn't even see...if you fell asleep. Loser

Nice hate-filled and unnuanced reply. I thought you were going to say something thoughtful and interesting, but instead it's just filled with dumb, blanket prejudice statements about a whole country of people. Oh, and lest we forget the personal insults thrown at someone with whom you disagree. Classy.
