I am not an actor

My name is Mark O'Brien and I just have two things to say. One, I am not an actor by any means, and am sorry for the sub-par performance. And two, this is not my story. This really does not depict my life or anything that has happened in my life at all. To tell you the truth, I have not even watched the movie all the way through. I think I look stupid on camera and don't wish to see it. The only thing that was real in that film was my prosthetics. Other than me wearing them, it was "Eric Rollins" not Mark O'Brien.

I think I got caught up in certain peoples promises to me. The views that are portrayed in the movie are not mine whatsoever. I'm not bashing anyone that has had anything to do with this movie, I'm just stating that this is not me. I don't want any pitty from anyone, and again I am sorry for the poor acting on my part. I am a Marine, not an actor.

Hey man, don't beat yourself up. I've seen far worse acting jobs. You weren't wooden as many I've seen (Arnold Swartzenagger, and Dolf Lundren come to mind). Infact, the best parts of the movie came from you. Your emotions weren't as over the top as the other characters. If you choose to pursue more acting rolls, then you can work on the craft, and I'm sure you can get better. Don't be down on yourself. I didn't think too much of the movie. Not so much because of the acting, but because of the writing, production value, and direction. I'm not a big fan of multiple flashbacks. Your parts were pretty good. Especially, the scene at the end in the recruiting office. Anyway, good luck in whatever you do, and thank you for your service to our country. Take care.
