I think its still very weak. The acting is weak, and the writers and produers are relying on old bottom fans to drive this program. They use swear words at very unecercary moments which make you feel like it's a 5 year old saying it and that annoying chinese guy feels like he was dropped in to make the show more PC and to include a wider audience.

The irony is that the Chinese guy is then used in insulting, stereotyping way. He's only just short of wearing a lightshade hat and Fu-Manchu moustache.

After watching the first episode I thought it was absolutly dire, but I gave it a chance and I actually think its getting better. I like Ade Edmonson and Mark Arden but don't think they've been give much to work with here. Its not as good as some of the comedy around at the moment, I think Beindorm is a gem of a program, but Teenage Kicks is deffently not the worst comedy I've seen.

Ade Edmondson is still awesome, but the support cast and storyline is piss weak.

I rather like it too. I just got the DVD and I've been laughing aloud during each episode...but then again I'm a big Ade fan. I do agree it is not nearly as brilliant as The Young Ones or Bottom, and the lack of anarchy shocked me a bit. I really think Ade should get back together with Rik and continue with Bottom or something similar. However, I do like Teenage Kicks, but it is somehow unnatural to see Ade do something as innocent as this...where's the mindless violence, swearing and masturbating? Time for a fourth series of Bottom, Ade!

Oh no am i the only one that thought this amazingly unfunny, benidorm then this, from something as hilarious as benidorm, to something as poor as this, so unfunny it was painful. Ade Ed is soooo much better then this.
