Diary of Bad Parenting

This "trilogy" is a prime example of just how influential Hollywood can be on children and in a bad way. These movies basically make parents look like weird fools. And it also shows the mothers being the dominate ones in the family, which is bad to say the least. The fathers are portrayed as the more silent fools. I swear, Greg's mom is the exact duplicate of a woman I know from California. She has a teenage son who turned out to be the worst kid on the block. But she actually believes she know how to be a parent. I grew up in an area where we don't follow superficial modernism to raise our kids. We use time tested wisdom. And this movie obviously doesn't reflect that concept. The parents are basically just as foolish as the children are.

That said. Once again, the Holy Bible is right on the mark. It teaches us that children are born foolish. And they require someone who is wise to mentor and raise them. Else they grow up to continue being fools, while having kids of their own and raising them as fools as well. So the cycle begins and it takes a LOOOONG time to break that cycle. Hence the reason why it only took 30 years to completely mess up today's society.

If we actually choose to be good parents, we will stop exposing them to garbage like this movie. Instead, we should be exposing them to the things we hope will be implanted in them to carry through life. After all, you don't just throw them into a bad environment and attempt to teach them coping skills. What a cop out! Reject modern society altogether. Stop conforming. And then maybe you ca write Diary Of A Strongminded Kid.
