Is the movie better than expected?

Even though the reviews for the film has been pretty bad, but I found the movie to be rather enjoyable.

No. This movie was worse than expected.

A light comedy with a likeable cast and a paper-thin plot. It was okay.
Some pretty big names for a movie that barely got a theatrical release, if any.

I have a new philosophy. I'm only going to dread one day at a time.

It's not a bad movie by any stretch. The best description is thin; with a cast including JK Simmons, Ray Liotta, Sigourney Weaver, Julie Bowen, Kelsey Grammar, and Tim Allen, it had a lot of comedic potential. It just wasn't funny enough.

Too bad too because as we all know, Tim Allen did spend 2.5 years in prison in real life so I'd have figured he'd have parodied that aspect better.

I found it to be a decent movie. I wasn't expecting much, which is probably why I didn't set myself up to be let down.

It's average. The cast deserved better. It's worth seeing once but I couldn't sit through it again, way too predictable.
