So they get rid of the lousy black cartoon

But they keep the lousy white cartoons. Bob Burger sucks and American Dad isn't that much better than The Cleveland Show. SMH!

Bob's Burgers is lousy. I've made several attempts to watch the show, and each time it's come off as dry and only sparsely humorous. Overall, the show is a dud.

american dad leaving fox for tbs and they revive the cleveland show and move it 8.30 and bob burger at 9.30

reply

You wish.

Bob's Burgers isn't for everyone I guess. It's a weird type of comedy, sort of, that you wouldn't understand unless you gave your attention it. It doesn't have your laugh out loud moments, where you'll crack up, but the show is awesome and witty.

American Dad is infinitely better than Cleveland show. Are you insane? That's like comparing gold to a pile of dog feces.

reply

Both those shows have (or had really since Cleveland is history) much higher ratings than the unfunny Cleveland Show.

reply

Both American dad and Bobs burgers have been better then this show. Infact this show started to suck after season 1.

I think AD is far better than TCS, but TCS isn't nearly as bad as everyone thinks it is (those who say it's awful have only seen the pilot more than likely). It's at least better than recent Family Guy, which has been on autopilot as well as on a high horse for the last few seasons.

American Dad is moving to TBS after this season and I don't really anticipate Bob's Burgers sticking around much longer.

I love American Dad and don't care for Bob's, but I'm glad The Cleveland show is gone. Its the exact same setup as FG, and even relies on the same gags and jokes.

You mean to tell me that THE CLEVELAND SHOW was canceled by FOX in favor of one of the worst animated show ever...BOB'S BURGERS????

But they kept THE SIMPSONS??? And renew it for five more seasons????

GONE......

"America's Most Wanted"(which moved to Lifetime Network after 22 years at FOX)

"Cops"(canceled also which has been with FOX since 1989!!! canceled by the network after 24 years!!!)

"American Dad"-(canceled too..moving to TBS in all new episodes coming October,14)

"The Cleveland Show"(canned after five seasons. Cartoon Network's Adult Swim and Centric will be airing the re-runs)

Not exactly, it wasn't cancelled in favor for Bob's Burgers, it was cancelled because the end of Season 4 gave them the minimum amount of episodes that fulfilled their syndication deal they sold it for in 2010.
That's why they moved it to 7:30, did very little to promote it and ignored the ratings, just like they did w/ 'Til Death

But they kept THE SIMPSONS??? And renew it for five more seasons????

No it hasn't. I'm not sure where you're getting it was renewed for five more seasons? Unless you mean 5 more seasons from Cleveland's debut in 2009.
Besides it's hardly the worst. Have you seem some of the crapola on adult swim?

And... ?
Shows that don't get the ratings get cancelled. Simple as that, and these show's ratings slipped enough to be removed from FOX's schedule.
Besides they aren't gone (save one), as you said w/ American Dad & AMW, also COPS was moved to Spike.
Also, American Dad (as far as I can find) has no start date on TBS yet & The Cleveland Show was only on for 4 four seasons & TBS also airs the reruns.

The very survival of FOX network depended on the popularity of The Simpsons. If it weren't for the breakout success of that show; FOX network may have gone the way of the WB or UPN.
Matt Groening and James L. Brooks can create new episodes of The Simpsons till they die....

On a sad note, original c0-creator, Sam Simon is terminal with colorectal cancer. He adapted my favorite The Simpsons "Treehouse of Horror" segment of The Raven.
