Whats with the makeup?

Almost everyone in the movie is made up to look like a corpse. Is it some subtle commentary on how everyone who is living their life wrong dead inside?

Lol that might be why. They looked kind of orange to me, but yes, the make up was weird and monochromatic.

I agree.. Jason Segel looked very pale, puffy and bloated.. I know his face isn'/t slim but the make-up made him look fatter than he was..
