Deer scene

Didn't anyone else feel that the scene with the hunted deer was just too disturbing?

I'm not one of those animal rights nut, bit still...

reply

I thought everything involving the deer looked too over-the-top fake to disturb me.

S you in your A's, don't wear a C, and J all over your B's.

Actually, the dead deer sliding off the top of his car was one of the funniest scenes to me.

reply

I agree, it was hysterical, and when he strapped the dead deer in his passenger seat, tooo funny, and it was obviously so fake, it was obviously not a real deer in any of the scenes...........come on !!!

reply

I agree with both of you.. People need to lighten up!

I actually found this to be one of the funniest scenes in the film. His wince as his companion tells him he shot it right in the brain was perfect.

If there is a god, then how come there is a Simon Cowell?

reply

I was a bit perturbed they weren't wearing blaze orange or had tags on.

reply

No it wasn't. What was disturbing was how fake the scene was. It was like they were at an amusement park. Terrible movie.

Not me...I wish more hunters would go into the woods without the orange on. It's ok with me (more than ok, actually) when hunters shoot each other accidentally. I get a huge kick out of it when I read it in the paper.

"You will not hear me scream!" "I Will.
But it is not your screams I want.
Only your life."

I haven't seen this film for a long time, and I cant remember much about it, but I do remember that my boyfriend hated the deer scene. I only saw this film once at the cinema.
