Judge Rules Sea Shepherd Wrongfully Sank Crippled Whale Wars Vessel

In characterizing testimony for the suit, the arbitrator was particularly harsh on Paul Watson; finding the Sea Shepherd founder in some instances to “be highly evasive, internally contradictory, or at odds with his own prior written statements, and in certain areas simply lacking the basic indicia of genuineness that instinctively inspires confidence and trust.”

So a judge ruled that Paul Watson is a liar.

If you read the whole article the judge also found that the Ady Gil was salvageable and that SSCS was more interested in drama and the 'story' than doing what was right.

Even merely watching the worshipful Animal Planet propaganda on the "collision" that was obvious. Just as was

Paul Watson is a liar.

You are of course correct that both things were obvious to anyone with common sense.

But it is nice to have a court say them.

And what is even better is the court didn't try and soften the blow. Usually courts don't directly state negative things like this, they usually use a lot of 'mays' and 'mights'. When a court flat out calls someone a liar it means their actions had to be so obvious that a 3 year old child would understand.
