Japan has sent a fleet of 4, including the Nisshin Maru that are now in the Antarctic Ocean.

Sea Shepherd claims to have sent the Steve Irwin to try and find the whalers, but the whalers increased their operating area, so they think they won't be able to find them before they've reached their quota.

So much for "Admiral" Watson's Mighty Fleet.

You give them millions and they give millions to the Japanese.

They win the lottery in Denmark, and they build a new ship which is... somewhere.

Could this be a wily ruse to lull the Japanese while they sneak the rest of their ships up to 'get' them?

We cannot simply defeat the Japanese on the water; we need to defeat them for good in the courts, and we cannot surrender to their arrogance in defying international law.

Yeah, I bet there's all kinds of 'direct intervention' going on thousands of miles from where the whales are being harvested by lawyers who aren't 'unpaid volunteers'.

Can anyone think of a way they could fail harder while still cashing those donation checks?

Or any way they could do less that the nothing they are doing now?
