Ninja Warrior All-Stars on UB

Kane and Shane Kosugi competed unsuccessfully in Daruma 7, and Katsumi Yamada lost in the Quick Muscle. Have there been any others?

Ya' know, if we pretend we know what's going on, this is actually kind of exciting.

its funny i just saw that episode with them on it it was funny watching them not on ninja warrior i saw another ninja warrior person on another show while in was in japan and i met him too.

Haven't seen Yamada's. On a new episode Tuesday night, I did see Daisuke Nakata(I think, I always mix him up with Naoki Iketani) on Bansuke 90(the one where they throw people up onto the hanging bar things). They won. First time I'd seen it beat.

Yeah, it was definitly Noaoki Iketani helping out his team with the Banzai 90 challenge. Iketani was on another episode right after that which I saw today. He competed in the Handwalk III course and got half way through it.

Noaoki's olympic gymnast brother, Yukio Iketani has also competed. He made it half way through the first Hand Walk course. After that, he has competed in the 1st and 20th Ninja Warrior Sasuke tournaments.

Also I might have seen Akira Omori, A.K.A. "The Monkey" compete on the Bamboo Derby course. I just remember the announcer saying his nickname and that he's a comedian, too bad he couldn't get far on the course. It was awhile ago and I haven't seen this episode since.

Can anyone confirm this?

Omori was on a couple Bamboo Derby episodes. I think he may've done Hand Walk too. For some reason I'm thinking he did several Banzuke courses. It'd explain why he was so loyal to Sasuke early on(until he quit participating due to the courses becoming too hard).

Now you got me thinking, I do remember Omori on the Hand Walk course also. He didn't make it very far either, but at least he tried more than one course so he could be noticed on the show for his comedy and his athleticism. Thanks for the info!

I'll have to watch out for more Ninja Warrior All-Stars that I might have missed on previous episodes.

Edit: Recently noticed Actor, Shigeyuki Nakamura on Ninja Warrior and I remember an episode of UB where he became the champion of the Muscle Gym challenge.

I like to also add...

Tomihiro Tatsukawa, the insurance salesman who dresses up in a Superman costume and is know as the "Japanese Clark Kent". He competed in the Damura 7 challenge but he lost after knocking out the first three blocks.
