what is with the moose defecating? I fail to see the significance in this.

this movie has steadicam shots that are much too long - especially for the content matter of the shots (somewhat uninteresting), it feels like time fill.

this movie is not about nuclear storage, it is about the onkalo nuclear waste storage facility being built in Finland. some of the topics discussed can be generalized to most nuclear societies, but the documentary specifically talks of onkalo.

I think the moose defacating scene gives us a sense that the land above Onkalo will be inhabited by living organisms just as before the waste was landfilled there.
