I caught the very end of this by chance on Al Jazeera America and knew that I had to watch the whole film. The links on IntoEternitytheMovie.com didn't work, but I eventually found it on YouTube, with Greek subtitles! It is here:

I hope that the link will still work for anyone reading my message in the future (100,000 years from now?). I was drawn to the film because it was so stunningly beautiful to look at and listen to. But there's so much more.

I've known for decades that nuclear waste is a time bomb - even if we stop building reactors today - and just accepted it as a fact of life. Now I'm thinking about it again. Here's my solution: Keep working on some way to make nuclear waste safe for disposal. Just because we can't do that now doesn't have to mean that it can never be done.
