disappointed with the movie

I had heard some info about this movie and I was extremely excited. I love documentaries and I've seen hundreds of them. However, I was bored throughout this entire movie. How many roaming slow steadicam shots can you have in 75 minutes? i found the whole nuclear waste idea fascinating, but the movie itself was lackluster. The narration was also quite bad. Trying to put the viewer into the seat of someone involved in this just made no sense to me. I wish the real Michael Madsen directed this. just kidding.

This film deals more with the existential dilemma of nuclear waste and what we leave for future generations...it is a mood piece, not an investigative one, therefore it generates more questions than answers for the viewer. It is a journey into the vastness of man's folly in his attempt to manipulate and control nature.

Just because a film confounds you and challenges your preconceptions doesn't mean it's not valuable.

The problem is, mood pieces such as music videos are 4 minutes long. Not 75 minutes long. I am not a person that would spend 75 minutes looking at a painting. Or spend 75 minutes watching a typical music video. So for me it missed the mark. Just making an informative documentary would have been better if it needs to be 75 minutes long.
