Anti Semitic?

Has Alan Derschowitz, Jon Voight, Dennis Miller, Ben Stein and Rupert Murdoch's Faux News goons come out to call this movie anti Semitic yet?

Dude means nice guy. Dude means a regular sort of person.

I really hope so. I hope they make him look horrible, because he is.

You can't really call someone anti-Semitic because the people behind so much corruption turn out to be Jewish.

Religion is regarded by the common people as true, by the wise as false, and by rulers as useful.

reply

@AtheistRevolution: HOW DARE YOU POINT OUT THE TRUTH! THE TRUTH IS ANTI-SEMITIC.

reply

The label is kind of overkill anyway. Jews are hardly the only Semitic people.

I am a Jew (well look at my username hah), and I actually thought this movie did the complete opposite. It showed how antisemitism is still around us. You could see the phoniness people had when it had to do with business, but then when their guard is down, their antisemitism comes out. Is the movie antisemitic? No. It shows how antisemitic people are though. JA was just as greedy as everyone else who was involved was. The interesting thing about him though was that he did contribute good things to the world and did actually save Natives a ton of money. Matoff was the same way. A crooked criminal, but he did contribute some acts of charity and helped others. However, justice was done and both clearly needed prison to pay for what they did.

If you call this movie anti-Semitic, either you are an extremist or know nothing. What connection did you get to jump to that conclusion? What is your argument? Because a Jewish involved in corruption? The corruption doesn't have any religion, neither ethnicity.
