Equal Corruption


For almost the entire movie I thought it was a pretty entertaining look at how destructive and corrupt lobbyists and consequently government is and can be, an indictment of the system itself.

That is until the Spacey voice over where suddenly he's going to take down those evil Republicans. If you're going to lash out at the government, then take sides within the same government you just exposed, all you've proved is you haven't really learned anything. Maybe that was the point.

He was reflecting his own experience within the party he was representing, that turned against him. You'd be bitter, too. And now he's a vocal critic of lobbying (ironic, huh?).
