The Funeral Coach/Hearse
This was a very good movie. But, seeing that magnificent old funeral coach, or hearse, was worth the price of admission. It was BEAUTIFUL! Anyone know exactly what make and year it was?

Thanks DrunkBear...now I know!
shareimcdb.org is a great resource. Up until the 1950s (or so), car builders would offer, in addition to their coupes and sedans, a 'frame' or a 'custom frame.' This was usually a long-wheelbase vehicle that included only an engine, transmission, drivetrain, and chassis. The buyer would often be an undertaker, or a luxury coach builder (coach builders were often, literally, builders of horse-drawn coaches, now building custom bodies for automobiles).
So you could order a 175 inch Packard frame with a straight-eight monster engine and a Warner five-speed transmission, then send it to Henney coach-builders to have the most luxurious hearse built just for that car.
