Worth watching if you're a big fan of the originals?

I really love the first 3 bourne films, and I have seen this one but I cannot for the life of me remember it, I remember the start where he is in a snowy cabin thing and he flips over the table, but that's all I remember, and I just rewatched the original 3 and remembered how much I loved them, so should I watch this one as well? The last and only time I seen it was the day it came out at the cinema.

reply

Yes, I like all four. Flips over the table I don't remember that bit.

I might have been thinking of the wrong movie. Does he go in a cabin?

I'm guessing you're suffering a little amnesia like Bourne himself... yea? How can you not remember a recent-ish movie... well 2012/3yrs ago?

Where a few drinky poo's had whislt you watched?

Lol ;)

I do have a dreadful memory, o usually forget something the day after I watch it, unless I really enjoy it, or see it a few times. And to be honest, the film wasn't that great anyway, maybe not worth remembering?

So you're saying it's worth watching, but may be not worth remembering.Advice with definite qualifications!🐭

I didn't say that

4th ones OK. It's more just set in the same world than having anything directly to do with the original 3.

The first 3 follow Jason Bourne (obviously) as he wakes up and tries to figure out who he is and what's going on.

His actions reveal Treadstone to the public, the program he was trained under.

The fourth movie reveals that by Treadstone going public it's going to make public other programs that were secret.

This is the catalyst for shutting down Outcome which is built on the research of Treadstone (and uses the same cabin for training) but with added drug and gene therapy.

All the Outcome agents are killed except for Outcome-5 and that's who you watch through this film trying to get off his meds and survive.

Near the end you also find out there's another secret program LARX. Earlier it had been hinted that other programs existed or could be started, now you are finding out at least one has prototype soldiers up and running. LARX-3 is sent after Outcome-5

And that's pretty much the movie. The first 3 Bourne films are all about Bourne and the Treadstone project he was trained under. Legacy is all about Outcome and the secret programs that use Treadstones research and expand on it with drugs and gene therapy.

As it's mentioned LARX is Treadstone without the inconsistancy and Outcome without the emotional baggage.

Basically Treadstone and Outcome are both deemed failures with only Bourne and Outcome-5 surviving.

You make the story sound really good!

I thought it was decent but you did have to pay attention to the details. Everything I posted is in the film, but it's mentioned quickly and they don't dwell on the details before jumping straight into more action or another scene
