WHY WONT MY GAME WORK??

In March, I downloaded a add on for Mercs 2 (after holding it off for 6 months, I just couldnt take it anymore). But now, whenever the load screen comes on, the game freezes and my PS3 locks up. WHY WONT MY GAME WORK???

I tried asking EA, but they constantly ignore me. I try asking Pandemics, but guess what? THEY SHUT DOWN AND FILED BANKRUPTCY. So I'm stuck like this forever?

same thing happened to me on the xbox version. the only way to play the game now is if you turn the wifi off. it's because the EA servers for the game are down permanently.
