unnecessary?
Was I the only one who thought the "main couple" was unnecessary?
I felt like Moose and Camille had a good story-line going, why couldn't they be the main couple? I just don't get it.

It's strange to think, but there are three strikes against them.
Moose and Camille were 1) nerdy, 2) not traditionally attractive, and 3) physically small. Not that I'm hating, personally. I thought Camille was hot as hell.
That's what I'm saying, most people I know that saw this movie loved Camille and Moose and could care less about what was happening with the main couple. I guess Hollywood still thinks audiences would rather see two generic boring pretty couple rather than an interesting, fun couple.
Made You Look
I agree - I loved the movie, but it became tiresome to keep up with two couples and two subplots with them, when I was only really interested in Moose and Camille. I thought Moose and Camille were a cuter couple with more spark between them, and they were just more interesting characters overall in my opinion. The only reason I could think of for having Luke and Natalie as a couple was to make the plot with Julian work better (don't wanna specify more than that, at the risk of spoiling the movie) and, as mentioned, because Luke and Natalie are more 'traditionally attractive' than Moose and Camille. Though I personally think Moose and Camille were both much more attractive than Luke and Natalie, but that's just me.
shareI came on this board hoping to find a post like this cause I completely agree. I thought the main couple were boring and didn't understand why they had to be the forefront. I assume Moose was brought back because he was a fan-favorite from the second one so it didn't make sense not to have him be the main star and focus on his story with Camille. I think that's why I found this film disappointing.
