Kenneth - are you new to posting comments on a message board? I have read a few of your posts and you seem to take things very personally. For someone who has been married for 22 years (there is no reason anyone should know this bit of personal info about you, this message board is for discussing movies, television shows, etc...now there are other boards where you can discuss marriage, etc...but I like you digress) it would seem to me that you know how to let things roll off your back and allow others to have views that differ from yours.
Now, I am going to get a little personal. Some people buy Paula Deen's cookbooks and by her own admission, her favorite ingredient is "butta". I imagine people will buy the Neely's cookbooks too because we live in a society where people have different tastes and desires and we have the freedom to partake in them. It's called diversity. There is diversity in cooking, diction, lifestyles, ethnicity, race, culture, etc... and that is the beauty of America, the diversity! I for one applaud the FN for bringing some diversity to the channel. It is great to know there are shows that the "other half" can relate to. In case you are unaware, diverse cultures lead the purchase power in the United States. We are doctors, and lawyers, and we make lots of money and we buy stuff AND we love our culture and embrace our culture. Believe it or not, there are people who talk and act like the Neely's that carry a great deal of earning potential, intelligence, and political clout. Wake up and join us in the 21st century! It's a beautiful diverse place!
