Yea Right! (Spoilers)

We're supposed to believe that some Gimp broad is a serial killer? She's not supernatural. Nor strong. Or fast. She's a GIMP! She's slow as hell. Can't run. Barley walks. But she's fireproof?

In the basement she's gimping around with a knife. And there are a lot of things in there for Ju-oh to use against her. Like 2x4's,Steel parts, etc. No gimp broad could stand up to that. Except Yi-hwa!

How did she get out of that basement that was on fire? With cops everywhere around that night and next day? Without even being singed herself? Her basement was a big 'ol human chop shop. And she does all this while barely being able to walk. Plus she's ugly!

Then, sneaks into Mi-na's room and practically kills Jun-oh. Who deserves to be killed for being such a wimp! And where was Mi-na,if she wasn't in her room?

Avoid this film at all cost, because of what I just said. Other than that,I give it a 7.0 . I know,I know, I rip this film. Other than that,it's pretty good.

That's what I asked myself while watching....they were spreading it really thick...

The whole movie was so dream-like... it wasn't a priority that it make perfect sense or exist on a level where 'plausibility' was particularly important. Not all movies are meant to be 'realistic' or 'believable'.
I mean, right up to the end of the movie I wasn't entirely sure if the woman/man/house was real or something the 'hero' made up in his head to balance the guilt of his brother's death.
The guys who made the movie say on the extra features of the DVD that they wanted to make a movie that juxtaposed idealistic romanticism vs. dark/decadent romanticism... and I think they succeeded.
In a way it reminded me of 'Blue Velvet'... where you have Kyle McLaughlin's idealistic and improbable Disneyesque world crash headlong into Frank's perpetual darkness. There's nothing particularly believable about that movie either, but it's great.

I don't get how the crazy lady was able to try and kill the main character at the end after she got stabbed in the eye. That has to hurt. Just watching that part made me wince. Then she pulls it out and she's supposedly fine?

Duh! You're telling people not to see it, but you're giving it 7/10 and then saying it's pretty good?
And there are a lot of things in there for Ju-oh to use against her.
And he doesn't because as the movie makes very clear, he's this essentially peaceful humanitarian dude, who desperately doesn't want to hurt anyone on account of the guilt he feels over his brother's death.
How did she get out of that basement that was on fire?
I agree with you there ... bizarre but not unexpected in horror films as is the follow -up in the bedroom.🐭
