I like that Rattlesnake Jake actually showed respect for Rango at the end

To quote Jake - "I tip my hat to you. One legend to another"

Jake is certainly as ruthless as they come, but I like that he actually has respect for those he considers a worthy opponent. Jake definitely seems to have a code honor as well, and probably hates liars (which is why he chewed out Rango and exposed the lizard in front of the entire town).

But once Jake found out that Rango lived up to the legend, he (Jake) showed respect. It's nice that Jake isn't one dimensional evil and actually has some depth.
