I thought it was a damn good movie

Seriously. The effects were damn awesome (better than anything in Hollywood, and super powers done right) and the story was solid. It's not about the zombies, really. The scope wasn't "worldwide" like Resident Evil 3 onward, it's primarily about revenge, Keiko's on Sugata and Aya's on Saki. I thought everything was handled rather well.

I give it a 9 out of 10.
