Don't read if you haven't seen last Vendetta.

When Kevin puts Ben and Gwen in the escape pod. Ben says there's no
way they can help Kevin. BUT couldn't he have switched to Big Chill?
In season 2, Save the Last Dance, they said Big Chill's race lived in space. He could've left Gwen behind in the pod, she probably would've understood at that point, and helped Kevin.

The pod might not have had an airlock, so Big Chill wouldn't have been able to leave it without endangering Gwen.

big chill could have become intangible and jsut passed through it without opening it up
