'In Charm's Way' -- Pity for Mr. Smoothy?

Did anyone feel bad for the living Mr. Smoothy sign in this episode?

[Upchuck is drinking Mr. Smoothy's innards]
Mr. Smoothy: "Stop, please! I'm half empty!"
Upchuck: "Bad attitude. You're half full!"

I think it's the cute, high-pitched voice that does it. If he'd sounded more like the Kool-Aid Man, I would have laughed as he slowly died too.
