I wonder what the original creators think of this show...

I wonder what the four creators of the original Ben 10 show must think of this perversion. Not that the original Ben 10 was immensely better but what always kept me watching was the originality of the content.

Ben had 10 different aliens all serving a different purpose. There was one for strength, one for speed, one for flight, one for smarts, etc...

This show seems to have lost all of its creativity. Using over a dozen aliens with no unique purpose. To a point where it almost becomes like pokemon where after the 350 they just start to look the same and you have a million variations of the one pokemon.

The villains seem rather weak and the heroes don't seem to have much trouble in this adaptation of Ben 10. What used to be a couple of intense battle scenes has now turned into a 2 second fight where Gwen just chants a spell. I don't see any flaws in our heroes.

What happened to Ben having trouble with Omnitrix? What happened to his resourcefulness when he needed strength for a fight and he was given smarts instead? What happened to Gwen's issue with magic? These factors are no longer here. Instead all we have to do is pull out the old omnitrix and spell book and bada bing bada boom the villains are defeated.

What also seems to amaze me is the lack of equality when fighting. I thought since some of the writers and directors of this show had previously worked on 'Justice League' but for some reason the quality of the show has only declined.

A factor which had always amazed me in Bruce Timm's DCAU is the gender equality. When Wonder Woman or Supergirl went up against an opponent there was no beating around the bush. They got punched, they got kicked, it was a real fight. No excuses, no political correct movements. It was a fight between two superheroes the way it should be.

So why is Gwen all of a sudden saying in one episode, "Would you hit a girl?". Yes. He's a villain. He WOULD hit a girl. Why are you so surprised? Haven't you been in the crime fighting business for a long time now?

I've caught quite a few episodes from this show and from what I've seen the writers don't seem to have much respect for the original material. Nor do the directors.

And what's up with Ben 10 switching to an alien and constantly saying their name? This is Ben 10, not pokemon.

You summed it up better than I ever could. What a bland, boring piece of crap.

And now we have "Ultimate Alien," where they don't bother to come up with new aliens, but just extend the powers of existing ones. Creative!

Oh noes! There are people in this world who don't have the same taste in entertainment as you! Whatever shall you do? Attack them of course, the only plausible thing on your mind. Don't try to defend the show with facts or your opinion on it. That would be just stupid.

Do you realize how silly you're being?

If you aren't a troll, I really feel sorry for you. There's a lot more to life than Ben 10 you know. Don't like my review, don't read it. If you bother me one more time, you will be blocked and reported.
